Terrazzo can be used outdoors.
The surface hardness and strength of the treated terrazzo are relatively high, and it is not easy to crack and weather. The surface density is relatively high, and indoor and outdoor spaces can be used.
How to construct terrazzo floor:
1. Before construction, the ground shall be cleaned until the surface is clean, tidy and dust-free.
2. According to the requirements of the designer, mark the elevation and line on the ground and wall. Generally, the distance between the wall and the ground should be about 50 cm, and then snap the horizontal line on the surrounding walls.
3. Soak the terrazzo in water until enough water is absorbed, so that there will be no cracking and other problems in bonding.
4. Apply cement mortar on the ground or wall for leveling, clean the surface, and then snap lines for typesetting. In typesetting, pay attention to symmetry, and try to keep the integrity of the terrazzo and cut as little as possible.
5. Terrazzo shall be laid according to the cross line and the thickness shall be controlled.
6. Put the terrazzo into the steel membrane, wet it with water, then lay the prepared mortar, and scrape it with a scraper.
7. Hammer the ground with a wooden hammer to make it more firm and smooth, and the gap is more accurate, so as to avoid unevenness. In addition, after the laying is completed, it is necessary to sprinkle water continuously and soak it for 2-3 days.
8. After it is completely solidified, remove the stains on it with a stone grinder, and then wax it again until it is smooth.
