How do you tell the difference between imitation marble and quartz stone?
1. Quartzite is composed of 94% quartz and 6% resin, with a hardness of 7 degrees, whereas artificial marble is composed of marble powder and resin, with a hardness of 4-6 degrees. Simply said, quartzite is harder than artificial marble and is more scratch-resistant and wear-resistant.
2. Quartz stone is reusable because the internal material of quartz stone is uniformly distributed, so whether the front or the reverse is basically the same, that is to say, the surface received serious collision damage, the front, then reverse after a simple polishing and polishing can achieve the same effect as the original front, greatly reducing maintenance costs and costs. And the post stone is not reusable because its frontal effect is created after a unique process, and once destroyed, it cannot be used again. Simply put, quartz stone is difficult to shatter, whereas imitation marble is simple to break.
3, quartz stone, due to its own material characteristics, decided its high-temperature resistance, 300 degrees Celsius below the temperature will have no effect on it, that is, will not deformation and fracture; artificial marble, because it contains a lot of resin, is especially prone to deformation and performance scorching phenomenon in the case of high temperature.
4, quartz stone is a non-radiated product with no detrimental effects on the body; the raw materials used to create quartz stone are non-radiated quartz, whereas fake marble is made of natural marble powder, which may contain radiation and cause adverse effects on the body.
5When inspecting the sample, you will notice a layer of protective film on the surface of the artificial marble. The surface of quartz stone that has not been processed in any way.
Some say with a knife scratchplate, while others say with an acid bubble. Both are correct, but we want to offer a simple way so that people who don't know the stone or the chemistry may quickly determine the authenticity.
Simply look at the back of the stone, the back of the genuine quartz stone, which is turntable polished and has a rounded scratch that is visible. The back of the man-made marble is flatter. Is horizontally carved out, has a faint straight mark, or has no scratches. So, check at the rear of the curved scratches to see if it's a real quartz plate, a straight mark, or imitation marble.
