Terrazzo is a floor material in marble, quartz, glass or granite, set in cement or resin, and usually has a variety of colours against a white or black background. Terrazzo has multi-coloured options, which makes it the perfect way to enhance a colour scheme, but it can also be reduced in proportion to the surface of the bathroom. In commercial lobbies, terrozzo walls can add a touch of formality and whimsy to a room, with colour and material selection depending on the marble matrix and colour. For commercial bathrooms, it gives a glossy luxury finish without resorting to metallic ceramics (which often creates an industrial effect), and in a commercial lobby, they can be added to normal marble or mirrored metals that could otherwise be used to achieve gravitas.
