The Fix for Quartz Stone Glue That Doesn't Dry

Dec 23, 2021

Quartz stone, which has a rich color, can be intentionally altered in appearance, and has the same hardness as real stone, is now widely employed in all aspects of architectural decoration. So the processing and production of quartz stone and ordinary artificial stone are not the same, especially when it comes to seamless splicing. Many people will recommend using quartz stone manufacturers' dispensed resin glue for splicing, but in practice, quartz stone glue often does not dry after a long period of time. Why is this?

The following are the reasons why quartz stone glue does not dry:

1. The workers' construction is not in strict agreement with the proportions to modulate the glue; not in proportion to adjust evenly will cause the glue to not dry, which will pollute the stone over time!

2, the usage of resin glue is to be used with quartz powder and curing agent modulation, so there are certain requirements for temperature and humidity, add the amount of curing agent to vary with it, not according to the building site environment (temperature, humidity).

3. There is water in the glue, or in rainy days and humid areas for construction is also a cause of delayed curing glue; in this case, the amount of curing agent used should be increased.
