Advantages and disadvantages of quartzite
Advantages: high hardness, high-temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, impact resistance, easy to clean, without any radioactive elements harmful to the human body. Good quality quartz stone is produced by an advanced process of super hard and environmentally friendly composite quartz sheets, which contain up to 93% natural quartz, as well as resin, mineral pigments and other additive components, selected materials by colour mixing and vacuum and high pressure to form an extremely tight composite, and then by a complex cutting and surface polishing process to become quartz stone. The surface is as hard as granite, the colour as rich as marble, the structure as anti-corrosion and stain-resistant as glass and the finished form as perfect as artificial stone. Because of its excellent performance in many aspects, it has become the ideal material for kitchen and bathroom countertops and fine wall and floor applications.
Disadvantages: High price, single shape, no complex shape, problems and bumps are not easy to repair. Because of the high hardness and density of quartz, it cannot be seamlessly spliced and is not easy to do complex modelling. There is dust during installation. Because it is a chemical product, there is a possibility of cracking, and it is not easy to repair after cracking.
