Travertine is a sedimentary rock with low strength, high water absorption, and poor weather resistance, which is not an ideal material for stone curtain wall panels. However, the unique texture, color, and style of travertine make it a popular choice for architects who wish to use them as stone curtain walling. The selection of travertine stone panels and their maximum safety is, therefore, a very important issue. There should be no cracks in the stone panels, nor should they be broken, and no broken panels should be glued to the wall. Travertine slabs should not be interspersed with soft streaks and weak veins. Travertine used for curtain walls should be tested for flexural strength in each batch, and its test values should comply with national industry specifications

Quality Control

We classify it into 3 grades:
Grade A: few pink hairlines & 1-3 crystallines with a width less than 2mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hairlines & 1-3 crystallines with width between 2-5mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hairlines & some crystallines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice ... All grade A pieces, some pieces may not have pink hairlines but normally have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality ... with different qualities mainly for Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

FAQ

1.    What edges do you do for countertops and vanity tops?

Full or half bullnose, beveled edge, a square edge with a 3/8 inch radius relief on the top and bottom edges. Other edges are also available, please send me your requirements.

2.    How many square meters will load in a 20 feet container (27tons)?

Normally 950m2 for tile in 1 CM thick, 450m2 for 2cm, 320m2 for 3cm. Please contact me for more details.

3.    What are your main products?
  Our main products are marble slabs, tiles, countertops, vanity tops, and so on. We also customize for our clients.

4.    How long does it take to deliver products?

  The time of delivery is normally 10~25days after we receive the deposit. It mainly depends on the number of orders.

5.    Payment Terms 

1) by T/T (30% deposit,70% pay within 2 weeks after BL date )

2) By irrevocable L/C at sight.

3) Partial T.T, partial L/C

4) Other payment terms are available after negotiation. 

6.    How is your packing?

1) Strong wooden crate or pallets for finished products.

2) Wooden bundles for random slabs or gang saw slabs.
